Another hurricane has devastated parts of the South. At face value, a hurricane in September is not unusual. It’s not an event alone that would indicate man- made issues are affecting our weather. 200 years ago, before industrialization, this same type of occurrence was taking place in our part of the world. It always has since the beginning of time. The Gulf of Mexico is a land locked body of water with such a small area of aquatic coverage compared to oceans that it’s bound to get warm quickly and stay that way most of the year. Not having the inflow and outflow of circulation like the oceans do drawing cooler waters into the center from the poles. It’s akin to placing a bathtub in the sun next to a swimming pool and seeing what gets warmed up quicker. Yet, the issue is that cyclones are getting more frequent and intense. Like any mathematical equation hurricanes and their formation can fall into a nifty formula. Here’s one for you
Billionaire Stockholders + Fossil Fuel Companies Stockholders Control + Climate Change Denial Disinformation + gullible voters with a tribalist worldview against altruism taken advantage of by the three values in this equation before them = more climate disruptions with greater intensity.
Every time I eat at Cracker Barrel, I play that pesky peg game left at each table to pass the time before my meal arrives. The rules are: Leave one peg and your purdy smart. Leave two and your purdy dumb. Leave three and yur stupid. Leave four and yur ignoramus. With my new ‘hurricane equation’ I believe it needs to be stated more succinctly.
Solve this equation and you’re fairly smart! Your informed by the right information. Not coming to a conclusion by not being able to solve the equation means you are a stupid piss ant who deserves any destruction to your property or other interruptions to your life that may come.
