This Entry Will Not Get Me In Trouble With Any Meaningful Voters

Just yesterday I got livid with another divisive auto window decal. And of all things I was on my way to a date set up with a woman I’d been speaking to for a couple of weeks by phone.  It was to be one of the better Sunday’s of the year.   My time on my date went well as we took in a play in Gadsden’s historic Alabama City and it’s theatre district. Yet, I still could not shake the reality that it is time to not be so nice to certain sectors of society.  To finally tell them how we, as just decent people, Republican and Democrats alike, think of them.

The decal’s theme:  A caricature of Donald Trump urinating on the word Liberals.

Of course the driver was the standard type of person you’d believe would have such symbolism on his car.  They being low income and low intelligence.  Driving off to the more economically destitute parts of town to arrive at their forlorn, in need of repair, home.  That home as another source of his vitriol toward other sectors of society his standard of living deems more fortunate than him.

In bed last night I thought of all of those techno fascists like Curtis Yarvin.  The man who stated we need a CEO fascist type dictator because most of society is too stupid to know how to govern themselves.  After all of these years of hating such men like Yarvin and desiring to run for office just to thwart ideas like his…….. I finally had to agree with him.  Getting a lump in my throat, I pondered a time where I actually agreed with people like him enough to sit down for drink with them.  To accommodate him enough to consider him a friend. I realized I was becoming as cynical as ‘dark enlightenment’ types like Yarvin and J.D. Vance.  And Trumpist culture warrior?  Yeah I’m talking to you!  You who are lowly paid, lowly intellectual, unrefined and angry at everyone who is higher in society’s illusion of hierarchies.  You who do things like throw litter out of cars, pick fights in chain establishments.  You who mock any sentiment of being mindful of other people’s feelings in the world. You who wear your animosity on your sleeve to the world around you.  People like Vance and Trump hate you as much as anyone else out there.  The Joe Biden’s of the world, the one’s you mocked with monikers like ‘Go Brandon’  were actually on your side when it came to policy.  You’re getting used so badly by cable television outlets channeling you to vote against your interest by drumming up cultural issues that don’t mean a damn thing by the end of the day. You are gullible to politicians and billionaires who simply channel your anger and laugh at you all the way to the bank as their policies continue to intentionally destroy your life.  Yet, you manage to find time to take swings at imaginary ‘elitists’ who went to college when you couldn’t or who live in more affluent neighborhoods than you.

Angry culture warrior, it’s no one’s fault but yours that you are in the predicament in which you find yourself.  Your mindset of victimization is ironic since you keep saying the ‘American way’ is to take responsibility and ‘pull yourself up by your bootstraps.’ Yet, it is detested by all, even those you think are on your side. That was the issue I struggled with the most last night.  And it didn’t scare me the way my thoughts some times do when it comes to society and how to address it’s problems.  Because, usually it’s about worry over how could I lose votes if ran for office and I believed this or said that?  It was cathartic in a way knowing that I don’t need or want your votes if you even vote at all.  As if you may be too sorry to get your lazy ass to a voting booth in the first place. The thought that caused me the most turmoil?  That was believing that maybe people like J.D. Vance and Curtis Yarvin have been right all along.  The thought that I was becoming more like them in the way I saw humanity.  That’s part of the reason I’m a bit drowsy writing this, I didn’t sleep too much. Let’s hope it stays that way. If I become the type of person I’m contemplating and I can still sleep well at night, then that’s unfortunate.
